We've chosen to open one of our gourmet establishments in the beautiful town of Mâcon, in the heart of Burgundy. At 54 rue Carnot, on this bustling downtown street, our Pralus boutique is a welcome addition to the daily lives of Mâcon residents and visitors alike.
Here, as in each of our boutiques, we share with you what makes up the soul of Maison Pralus: a passion for goodness, a respect for artisanal gestures, and a sincere desire to offer you a moment full of sweetness.
A family heritage, a story of passion
For three generations, our house has cultivated a taste for a job well done. Founded in Roanne in the 1950s by Auguste Pralus, a great pastry chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, Maison Pralus was taken over by his son François, who instilled a unique vision: crafting chocolate from bean to bar.
Today, we are proud to be among the few companies in France to roast our own cocoa beans, sourced from all over the world, in our own factory. You will find this expertise in each of our creations, whether it's our "bean to bar" tablets, our Infernal® bars, or our essential Praluline, pink praline brioche which has become our signature.
A boutique with Burgundian charm
Our Mâcon boutique is nestled on the elegant Rue Carnot, just steps from the banks of the Saône and the bustling shopping district of the city center. Behind its welcoming window, you'll find a place that reflects our style: simple, welcoming, and delicious.
Every day, we prepare our products on site Pralulines, whose smell of butter and sugar fills the street in the early morning.
You will also discover our artisanal chocolate, our gift boxes, our seasonal creations and all these sweet treats that tell the story of our passion for chocolate and beautiful raw materials.
