A speciality of the Rhône-Alpes region, the pink praline has been made for over sixty years by Maison Pralus. This delicacy, dating back to the 17th century, can be eaten like a candy or in delicious recipes from the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, such as the praline tart or the Praluline. The Pralines of Maison Pralus are made from carefully selected Piedmont hazelnuts and Valencia almonds, wrapped in a pink sugar coating. Once roasted, the fruits are coated with a layer of cooked sugar, in successive layers, one ladle at a time. This delicacy is a hallmark of the Maison Pralus. It led to the creation of the Praluline, our brioche with crushed pralines, which has become one of the region's most popular desserts.
